In addition to handknitting, my Knitting Mama was a whizz at the knitting machine.
Here's the Lil' Nic Dress, made for me when I was about 3 years old. There's a yellow I cord belt that goes with it too, but it didn't make it into the photos.
I clearly remember loving the way the skirt pooffed out and especially loving the little buttons. And it's still cute.

Hoot! I'd love to see me in it too, but while I remember wearing it very clearly, I don't think a photo exits.
I've been trying to pursuade Little Mouse to model it for me but as yet to no avail. If I manage to get pics I'll show them off, deffo.
What a gorgeous dress, I bet you looked lovely in it. I love older knitted items, especially ones with good memories, like yours.
