Parade of Aprons

Here's another parade of items from the Knitting Mama. Of aprons this time.
'Vintage' I guess you could call them, altho' since I remember some of them in use, that makes me feel all Miss Marple-ly.

I liked the aprons so much that I even got out the iron before the photos.
When non-essential ironing takes place, you know that says something.
This is one of my favourites. Love the Georgian-type white-on-blue pattern combined with those lovely stripes.
The fabric is really crisp yet tender soft from frequent washing.
Nice one Mum!

My Mum, the mad cook, would never wear an apron, sad for me as I don't have a treasure like this one..

I love aprons. I don't know why, since I don't wear them, but I love them. They make me want to bake something and learn to sew properly so I can make one myself.
